Rooms have decent size, providing enough space to move around comfortably. The quaint charm of the villa setting adds a unique character to the stay.
The air conditioning was non-functional, making for a stuffy night, and wall sockets in one of the rooms were loose or entirely detached. A kettle was missing from the room and no complimentary water was available, while the bathroom cleanliness left much to be desired. Breakfast options were limited, with little available by the time we reached the dining area.

The vibe here is super chill. The pool was nice for cooling off after a day in Venice. Gotta shout out the fettuccini carbonara – hit the spot. The family room was spacious enough for all of us, but the breakfast could use a little more variety. Honestly, it’s really got that cozy, homey feel.

Delicious dinners by the pool
Our stay at Hotel Villa Sara turned into an unexpected highlight, thanks to the incredible fettuccini carbonara and the serene atmosphere by the pool. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the outdoor dining under the stars felt magical.
However, the hotel can be a bit noisy at times, especially in the morning when alarms from neighboring rooms can be heard. This may disrupt sleep for light sleepers.

Hotel Villa Sara surprised us in a good way during our emergency two-night stay. The pool had a refreshing temperature with plenty of sunbeds available. The evening dinner was a culinary highlight, especially the fresh fettuccini carbonara, which stood out for its flavor. The room had essential amenities like a mini fridge and tea/coffee facilities, which were helpful. Despite some noise from nearby rooms, the overall atmosphere was fairly relaxing. On the downside, breakfast options were limited, and the air conditioning struggled. The cleanliness left room for improvement. the shower door had mould, and there were missing toiletries. Staff were friendly and accommodating, willing to help with travel arrangements, which we appreciated.
